In a new interview with the October issue of Redbook, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz comments on her Jessica’s desire to start a family:

She’s always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby!’

The Melrose Place star doesn’t envy her sister’s single lifestyle, admitting:

Being a mom’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.

On giving birth to Bronx (now 10 months old), she says:

The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you. Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection.

Simpson-Wentz continues:

Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes.

Gotta indulge sometimes! If Jessica were to have a baby, who’d you like to see as the daddy? I think we all know my vote (eh hem, Nick Lachey).
