Wouldn’t it be nice to have your own personal workout guru? Someone to design your daily sweat sessions for free? Well…now you can!
OK, workout warriors! Meet Glisten. It’s a fitness Web site geared toward women. Become a member and have tailored exercise programs delivered to your Inbox. You can also get health tips and watch video tutorials. And guess what? It’s all free!

Glisten is the brainchild of two professional athletes: Allyson Felix and her brother Wes. On the track, Allyson is a four-time World Champion and two-time Olympic Silver Medalist. Oh, and did we mention she recently grabbed the Gold in Beijing? Wes is also a racing rock-star and runs professionally for Nike.
To create the featured workouts, this brother sister duo teamed up with friends, fellow athletes, and certified fitness experts and trainers. Check out our interview with Allyson. It’s a Celebutante Sisters EXCLUSIVE! Then, hit the ground running and sign up for Glisten.

Why did you decide to start Glisten?
I started Glisten because I felt that although there is a wealth of fitness information on the web, it is sometimes very hard to navigate. I wanted to provide women with a one-stop-shop for their fitness needs. The main component of our site is the workouts. At Glisten you can get workout plans that are created by fitness professionals and come with video tutorials, for free!
How do you guys come up with the workouts?
There are team of people here that come up with the workouts and we all put a little bit into the pot. My brother and I are both professional athletes, so we bring something to the table from the viewpoint of elite level athletes. And we also have two certified personal trainers who come up with a bulk of the workouts. So these are the same workouts that you would be getting from the personal trainers at your local gym.
How do I know which workout is right for me?
We have three different workouts that we offer right now. They are for everyone from the person that knows they need to workout (but isn’t quite ready to start yet!) to the workout enthusiast…and every woman in between. You have some really cool features on your site. Can you tell us about them?
Our goal is to keep the everyday woman interested in health and fitness, so in addition to the workouts that we provide we also provide restaurant ideas, recipes, workout music, fitness fashion and fitness related articles.
Congrats on your Gold Medal in Beijing! Can you describe how the big win felt?
I’ve spent a long portion of my life training with an Olympic Gold Medal as the goal, so when I was fortunate enough to win, I was overwhelmed and very thankful to God! There is still a lot that I hope to accomplish on the track and field front, but my first Gold Medal is something that I will always treasure!
