1. Baking Soda

Baking soda should be used alone on a damp toothbrush or mixed with toothpaste to neutralize the salty taste.

2. Xylitol Sugarless Gum

Chewing sugarless gum immediately after eating or drinking stain causing foods or beverages such as dark berries, red wine, and/or coffee can help keep stains at bay by promoting saliva flow before stains have a chance to set. An added benefit is that xylitol has been shown to help prevent decay.

3. Strawberries

Strawberries contain natural teeth whitening agents. Cut strawberry and rub directly on teeth. It is very important to brush with toothpaste immediately after as strawberries also contain sugar and acids.

4. Homemade Toothpaste

Mix baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, salt and toothpaste for an inexpensive whitening toothpaste.
